PPEFabCrew 3D Printed Face Shields - COVID-19

Local entrepreneurs in Lower Merion Township (Philadelphia, PA) have come together to put their 3D printing, laser cutting and fabrication tools to make 3D printed face shields. So far we have donated face shields to over 75 hospitals, medical practices, and several doctors, nurses and therapists. 
Omer Dekel, James Hartling and Vikram Agrahar (PhillyDIY) are currently spearheading this effort with the support of several unsung heros that are helping to deliver the face shields.
When we started out, we set a modest goal of $1000. In the last few days, we have had innumerable requests for face shields and have been ramping up our production, bringing in more partners that can assist with printing. We are also sending packages to hospitals that are in the areas that have been hit hard.
- Our original goal was to raise $1000 to help with the 3D printing and face shield raw materials. With the enormous surge in requests for these face shields, we have been updating the goal and ramping up production significantly.
- Funds will be distributed between all participating fabricating members for raw materials and supplies. 
- Balance of funds if any, will be distributed to a charitable organization such as Ronald McDonald House.
