COVID relief for a deserving family in Peru!

This fundraiser is created to help the family of my sister in law Lydia Cluck. Lydia’s brother, Oscar Cabrera, passed away because of COVID in Lima, Peru.  COVID hits a bit different in a third world country. People are dying mostly because of lack of basic medical attention. Simple things like oxygen and available hospital beds are arare commodity reserved only for the wealthy. Vitamins and medicine are expensive and scarce at times and when they are found, they are so overpriced that they are almost unreachable.  Oscar was an outstanding father and a pastor. He served his family and his church for over 20 years. He served the Lord and reached his community for Christ being a servant and a friend to anybody he came in contact with. He leaves a wife and 6 children. This fundraiser is created to help with medical and funeral expenses. The family also has other bills to pay since 4 people in their household also have COVID. In Peru there are no social programs and most people are not compensated while staying home sick. Please, help if you can! We live in a country that’s so blessed! Most of us would be able to get medical attention when needed. Sometimes we take those blessings for granted. The Lord has blessed us and in turn He gives us the opportunity to be a blessing. I had the pleasure of meeting Oscar and his beautiful family many years ago and I can attest to his character and his service to the Lord!
