Dhulikhel Hospital, a community public hospital in Nepal providing free COVID-19 treatment is in a critical situation. It has witnessed an inconceivable surge in cases of severely ill COVID-19 patients and has been running out of oxygen and other medical supplies, beds, and critical care services (ICU).
The hospital provides free COVID-19 treatment and covers a population of 2.7 million people. The hospital serves remote areas in Nepal completely overlooked by private and government hospitals treating patients from all walks of life with dignity and equity. The staff has been working selflessly, sleeplessly, and has willingly taken pay cuts but now they desperately need your help so that they don't have to turn away patients from a community they have been serving for 25 years!
