Covid Relief Fund For Billie Farrar & Family
Donation protected
Our world was turned upside down when my mother, Billie Farrar caught COVID-19 at the beginning of September and tried to manage the initial symptoms at home. On September 7th her breathing and oxygen deteriorated and I drove her to the hospital, where she walked into Doctors medical center by herself.
After a few weeks in the hospital Billie was still struggling to breathe at times and her body was unable to keep her O2 SAT's within normal range. Later, they found she developed pneumonia and immediately started to begin more treatments. The next 2 weeks were an emotional rollercoaster for me and my family. Billie slowly declined even more despite the medical staff's treatment & efforts. Prior to making the decision that they would need to intubate they tried placing her on Bipap, after nearly a week, intubation was necessary, however her body/lungs were improving slowly but it would take weeks. I waited Patiently until my family got a call from doctors & The only choice for improvement at this point was a minor surgery called a tracheostomy. This was put in place on October 7th, Billie seemed to improve for the next couple days and do her first rounds of physical therapy. On the morning of October 10th my mom had a stroke and took her last breath. I am completely numb, lost and heartbroken without my mom. Billie was my world, my pride And joy in life..she raised me all my life by herself as a single mom and helped me reach many milestones in my life. my mom had a heart of gold, she would uplift and shower many with her endless love and tender loving care. Billie would do anything for me and it just kills me inside.. My mom so special, she would give the shirt off her back to someone else in need.. I would do ANYTHING to spend another day with her and see her beautiful smile once again
We are asking you to help support my family through these tough times. Neither of us have been working for the past month and bills are getting harder to manage.. Any support no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated. Kind words, flowers, food or even donations would be great. This GoFundMe is being organized and is managed by her son, Bryan Farrar. All proceeds will go to his bank account to help with any funeral/hospital costs and future arrangements, the remainder will help with bills and costs of living during this rough time.
