My dad, Mark Olds, was diagnosed with COVID at the end of January and was admitted to the hospital in fairly stable condition. His breathing started to decline on February 10th, and he was placed on a ventilator and started on ECMO. He is currently battling not only respiratory aspects, but also blood sugar issues, clotting issues, and kidney failure. He hasn't made a ton of progress toward recovery so far, but this week was the first time in awhile that we haven't had any bad news. 
My dad is an amazing person who would do anything for anyone. He has been such an awesome father to all five of us and husband to my mom. Our whole family has been completely devastated by all of this. I'm starting this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the inevitable financial burden that will come following his hospitalization.
