Hey, friends!

I just received my bill from Wakemed hospital.

In case you missed my post a few weeks ago, I was admitted to the hospital for about 5 days total because I contracted covid and it really messed with my MS, sending me into a "pseudo-relapse." Fortunately, that means that as the Covid got better, the relapse got better (my limbs and bladder started to work again!). Huzzah!

I just got the bill. It was for $28,000. My insurance paid for all of that but $2,344. I've been on "disability/retirement" after 20+ years of teaching since January, and it'd be great if I didn't have to tackle this bill alone.

If you've got a few extra bucks lying around that you just can't figure out how to spend, why not toss it my way?
