Family and Friends I am asking for your help!
Our dear friends, the Gonzalez family, are in need of your help and support. On July 10, 2020 Luis Gonzalez (husband and father of four) was admitted to the hospital with COVID. He is currently still hospitalized. It’s been a very long (100 plus days) and difficult journey for Luis and his family.
Due to the medically induced comas, strokes, and a multitude of other procedures, Luis’s body is EXTREMELY weak. He is going through physical and speech therapy to help him regain his strength. He currently needs oxygen support by a trachea, blood transfusions, dialysis and many other care requirements. Due to COVID regulations the family has not been able to see him until recently. His wife is only allowed to visit him for five hours each day. Otherwise he has been alone which has been very difficult on him. All of this time he has spent alone and in a coma has caused Luis to have many issues understanding what is going on and has even caused hallucinations/delirium.
The family believes that what is best for Luis is for him to be treated at home surrounded by his loved ones. They are working with the hospital to make these arrangements but there is a lot of medical supplies and equipment that will be needed to make this happen. This will be a financial expense the family can’t afford especially since Luis ran the family business and is the main provider. So needless to say they are in need of our help.
We have known the Gonzalez family for over 12 years and they have never hesitated to help others in need. Your help will be greatly appreciated. If your unable to help with monetary donations, I ask that you share this and pray for the family. We know the power of prayer and believe that God will heal him.
