Help Family Affected by Covid-19 GOAL REACHED

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Jijon, I'm a 20-year-old college student. I am making this fundraiser in response to the unexpected events due to covid that have happened and impacted my family.

Unfortunately in July 2021, I was tested positive for covid 19, and later so was did the rest of my family in my household. My father, Luis (pictured) experienced the worst and developed covid induced pneumonia, he had to be taken to the hospital and currently is not stable enough to return home. He was our household's only source of income which means we were living off our savings -- a large part of that being from my college savings. Recently I had to pay some unexpected fees regarding my registration for fall classes and this completely wiped out the remaining amount in my account and my family's general savings.

This is urgent because there are incoming bills for rent and groceries, medical expenses, in addition to the costs of books, equipment, and transportation for the fall semester. At the moment we aren't equipt to pay off any of these right away and are racking up debt. When my father returns home he'll need oxygen and other medications in order to continue his recovery process. The goal right now is set to $5,000 because this is the estimated total of all expenses, but any amount others donate is something we are thankful for and will use gratefully.
