His family immediately felt at home in Charlotte, and looked forward to establishing their lives in this lovely community. And then Covid-19 hit…
I can think of no other industry hit harder than chefs working within huge arenas/stadiums. Kyle’s entire career was based in this atmosphere. His role was one of the first to be furloughed and the reality of being one of the last to return was palpable. Covid-19 has hit the arena/stadium industry so hard that the the Levy Corporation had to make the difficult decision to terminate almost their entire work force, including Kyle.
Those of you that know Kyle are well aware that his goal of being a chef began when he was in kindergarten. He never lost focus of his goal throughout his educational career, ultimately graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. Upon graduation, he moved to the Miami area and spent the majority of his 15 years working up the ranks in the Levy Corporation.

Upon the realization of how dire Covid-9 was affecting his career, he immediately went into what-next mode and, with discussions with his lovely wife, Candy, decided now was the time to seize the opportunity to start their own restaurant. Now… like immediately.
They are on a quest to start their dream restaurant serving Peruvian street-food to honor Candy’s homeland and its delicious cuisine. This will be a restaurant focused on preparing exquisite culinary food while complying with Covid-19 regulations from day one.
Starting a restaurant under the best of circumstances is a huge risk and financial endeavor. Starting a restaurant in the midst of a global pandemic, while unemployed, brings on a magnitude of complexities beyond belief.

Any help you could offer them would be greatly appreciated. We will keep you posted on their dream’s progress.
