Covid Computers for Children
Donation protected
As we all come to terms with the 3rd national lockdown due to Covid 19, here at St Pauls Church in Chichester, a few like minded members of our congregation have started to do what they do best and that is to consider how they can help their local community through these tough times. One member of the congregation in particular, Margaret Phillips, who over the years has devoted much of her life to helping other people as a nurse and has continued throughout her retirement, raising money for a number of local charities and individuals, wants to help her local community.
After hearing on the news recently that children were to revert back to remote home learning during this lockdown and that there were many children without access to the necessary equipment, Margaret immediately knew she had to do something to help the less fortunate children of our community who do not have the devices required for them to be able to access their online learning platforms.
The community of St Pauls church are very keen to support this initiative and have offered to be the hub for this effort. We are encouraging people to make a monetary donation to help purchase either a laptop, chrome book or tablet suitable for the local children of Chichester to utilise during this lockdown.
We encourage everyone who can help, individuals, businesses and indeed our local electronics shops and superstores to help by donating as much as you can now so we can quickly get these children what they need to continue learning while they are at home.
THANK YOU !!!
