Covid Assistance for Andy Cook & Misty Vore

Hi, my name is Amy and I am trying to help my brother in law while he recovers from an extremely serious case of Covid. He is in critical condition in ICU while the bills continue to pile up. Please read below for full details. Pray for our family and share Andy's story.

A month ago, Misty had Covid and about a week later Andy then tested positive. Misty has recoverd and just got back to work. Andy did not seem to be getting any better, but she could not afford to take any additional time off to be home and care for him.

On Wednesday, September 22, Misty was at work when she called to check on him. He was not doing well. She called him back on her next break and he was worse. She left work and called EMS immediately. They took him to Bellefontaine and a day later he was then transferred to Riverside in Columbus, OH. Andy is in critical condition and has been riding the Covid coaster. He has been on the ventilator twice now, mainly kept in a medically induced coma, has experienced blot clots, had pneumonia, a collapsed lung and now has sepsis as well. His condition continues to go from stable one day to gravely serious the next.

Misty splits her time between work (since her leave is exhausted) and at the hospital with Andy for the few hours a day that they allow. The daily expenses of parking, driving back and forth to Columbus daily and loss of Andy's income will cause a burden on their finances for the foreseeable future.

Misty and their children look to Andy to deal with all of the day to day handling of the household issues. This is a very trying time for the whole family and we want to do everything we can to ease their burden. If you are not able to donate, please say a prayer and share this story. God bless!
