Covid Relief for India

The Covid situation in India is severe and one of the worst outbreaks since the start of this pandemic, with over 375, 000 new cases a day. With the hospital system overwhelmed, India is in need of essential medical supplies, including pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators and food. The money raised through this effort will support hospitals in dire need. $20 can purchase one pulse oximeter. $470 can purchase one oxygen concentrator. 

My sister and I, Shayla and Sianah Britto, are a rising freshman and senior at CVCHS, and we’ve decided to do our part to support India. We’ll be donating the funds collected to the rural hospitals in Southern India (specifically the towns of Nagercoil, Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli); We personally are in contact with doctors at those hospitals and learned they are in dire need of pulse oximeters, oxygen concentrators and food.
