Gratitude and Hope in the Face of Adversity
Greetings to everyone! My name is Tanya and I’m here to share my story.
First and foremost, I give thanks to the Creator for the gift of life. I am deeply grateful for the countless blessings He has poured over me from birth to this very moment. He has blessed me with loving parents, a kind and compassionate sister, an incredibly supportive husband, our precious children, and many wonderful people who have crossed my path. My journey through life has been filled with joy and gratitude.
In January 2024, my family and I were shaken by a cancer diagnosis. After I undewent a series of diagnostic tests and imaging scans, doctors confirmed the diagnosis. Shortly afterward, my doctors and I discussed a treatment plan consisting of chemotherapy and radiation. After carefully weighing the pros and cons, my family and I decided to proceed with the treatment.
Enduring cancer treatment was one of the greatest challenges of my life. It took a tremendous toll on us—physically, emotionally, and mentally. But through it all, I praise the Lord, for He upheld me and gave me the strength to keep fighting.
After completing treatment, my doctors delivered the news we had prayed so fervently for—I was cancer-free. It was a moment of immense relief and gratitude. However, after some months, I began experiencing pain and other concerning symptoms. A follow-up scan revealed the presence of a new tumor.
Once again, my family and I are facing this devastating illness. We know that God Almighty will never leave nor forsake us. He is our source of strength.
Beyond the physical toll, cancer has placed a significant financial strain on my family. While I am still recovering from the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, I now face the challenge of affording further treatment. This time, I have chosen to pursue a natural, holistic approach under the care of professionals dedicated to alternative cancer therapies. However, this treatment is costly, and we find ourselves in need of financial support.
With humility and hope, we turn to you—kind and generous-hearted people—and ask for your support in helping us afford this treatment. We are grateful for any contribution, and above all, we give glory to the Creator for the opportunity to share our story.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
