Hi everyone, I’m Ed or better known as The Korean Mama's son or Teemo's dad. Teemo is a goldendoodle who is just over 1 year old and he was diagnosed with cancer on 2/6/2024. He has a spinal tumor that has compressed 70% or more on his spinal cord causing leg weakness/paralysis and urinary/bowel incommensurate. The neurologist thinks its either a nephroblastoma or a soft tissue sarcoma. For what its worth, Teemo had negative genetic testing and is a reputable local breeder. The neurologist said that there wasn't anything anyone could do - just bad luck.

As of 2/7/24, he can hardly stand in his own and is starting to have stool incontinence. He still has a good appetite and eating and drinking well. Minimally playful but does not seem painful.

I'm reluctant but admittedly needing some financial support as I did not have pet insurance. My current bills are approximately $10k. Surgery and radiation is an estimated $22k. Honestly I just can't afford surgery and radiation and the emotional and physical toll it would have on both of us. Even with surgery/radiation, his life expectancy would be 12-18 months. But I think "what if" about the surgery every day - if I had the funds, I would strongly consider it. Maybe foolishly. Anyway for now, I just want to be able to give Teemo the most comforting last moments of his life. Your donation will help me do that. Thank you for reading.
