Help Cover Tank’s Care After Union Street Incident
Tank was separated from his owner after an incident on Union Street in which the owner was struck by a truck while trying to catch him after the leash was accidentally dropped. EMS transported the owner to the hospital, and Tank was temporarily missing before he was safely recovered.
Tank’s owner is still in the hospital. In the meantime, Tank has been recovered and was treated at an emergency vet for multiple injuries, including a hurt paw and lacerations and any complications that may develop during recovery.
This fundraiser is being created first to help cover Tank’s veterinary care and related treatment costs. The current bill is $1700, and it will continue to rise a few hundred dollars with weekly bandage changes at the veterinary practice.
Any additional funds, after Tank’s immediate care needs are addressed, will go toward helping cover the owner’s medical costs related to this incident.
Any support is appreciated. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser may help.
