On June 26, Miguel Hernandez lost his life due to COVID-19, leaving behind his wife Elizabeth Guerrero and four children Jailene, Axel, Ximena and Aiden. While it was a tough battle for him, he continued to hold a strong posture for his family his last few days. Throughout his short-lived life, Miguel was selfless, family oriented, loving father who always carried a bright smile.
He taught his children the value of responsibility, hard work and the importance of love for one’s neighbor. Miguel came to the U.S. like many others have for the American dream for himself but most importantly his family. He was proud of his roots and even more proud of the new life he built beside his family away from his homeland.
Miguel was a joyful man who put the needs of others before his and dedicated his life to work hard to provide what was best for his family.
In Miguel’s shocking and sudden absence, now more than ever, we ask for your love and support. As our family is processing their grief and transitions into the unknown without him, we have created this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial burdens (medical and funeral expenses). Fue una batalla difícil, pero aun así él continuó demostrando su fortaleza ante su familia durante sus últimos días. A lo largo de su corta vida, Miguel fue un padre generoso, amoroso, y dedicado a su familia, siempre con una sonrisa brillante.
