We are all still reeling in the wake of our amazing friend, Bat Duffy's, unexpected death.

Bat left behind two beloved kitties, Mara and Spooky, and a devastated community of friends.

This fundraiser is to cover various expenses surrounding their passing -- the cats need food, water, and litter, Mara needs a vet visit, Bat's housemates were in the midst of a move and will be taking on the care of the cats for now (possibly permanently), the house needs to be sanitized, Marie was already struggling financially before this (disabled and still waiting since 2020 for SSDI to be approved), and this tragedy has created a number of additional costs and logistics issues.

The beneficiary will be Marie Camacho, who is handling the majority of the responsibilities about Bat's passing (in coordination with Shannon.) Marie is the one who will be following Bat's wishes about their cats, possessions, and final arrangements.

Please help if you can, and signal-boost -- Bat was loved by so many, and reducing the financial hardship will allow their family-of-choice to grieve and celebrate their memory.
