Covering expenses for Silvia Terrinoni last days

Hi, my name is Gary.

As many of you probably do not know, my mother-in-law Silvia Terrinoni, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June 2021 after she thought she was just battling some anemia issues.

Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow with excess immature white blood cells. AML progresses rapidly, with myeloid cells interfering with the production of normal white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets.

With an immediate and aggressive treatment plan, Silvia was admitted to in-patient care at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health. She went through more tests than she can count, an aggressive dose of chemo and constant evaluation by nurses and doctors that truly are angels. After a really hard 4 weeks of her last treatment, Silvia was finally able to go home in October 2022 and see her husband and doggies (Chloe, Bella, and Piston) and be in her own safe space, although she knew, she would still have a long journey ahead of her.

Unfortunately, in February 2023, Silvia's cancer returned and she is out of treatment options and is now terminal. My family is hoping to raise funds to help Silvia and her husband, Ron Terrinoni during this difficult time. The money raised will go towards everyday expenses such as housing, health insurance, car payments, utilities, and groceries. All medical expenses are being covered by the health insurance that Ron pays for and Hospice of the Valleys located in Murrieta, CA. We aim to alleviate some of the personal financial stress that Silvia and Ron are facing so that she can focus on saying her goodbyes and Ron can spend the remaining time he has left with his wife of 36 years.

As Silvia continues on this life transition, we want and need to do something to help. Silvia is the most loving, selfless, thoughtful and caring person most of us know, so it’s now time to give back some of what she’s given us, back to her.

For the woman who makes us all feel the most special when we need it the most, it is our turn to show up for her.
