Cover #yourbfbindle's emergency surgery bills

If you know Ginny D'Angelo, you know that she would describe herself as "dog-obsessed" and that she has always loved her pets with her whole heart. And if you know Ginny's dog Bindle, you know that he deserves every drop of that love. Bindle--also known as #yourbfbindle--is a snuggly, silly, kind boy who is beloved by everyone who meets him. He is sweet with the kids in his family, who adore him, and loves to be social with guests and cuddle with everybody.

On the morning of February 8th, Bindle suddenly became very ill and had to be rushed to the emergency room. As it turned out, he had an extremely advanced tumor that had perforated his stomach lining and needed to be immediately removed. He was put into a five-hour intensive surgery, leaving his family distraught and not knowing what to expect. But Bindle is tough and his doctors did an amazing job, so he has made it through surgery and is slowly starting to be able to eat and drink a little.

However, Bindle and his family are not out of the woods yet--he is still experiencing ongoing issues and his medical bills are growing. Ginny and her family are deeply grateful to Bindle's wonderful team at the Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals through Tufts University, who have been so kind to Bindle and his family and have given him incredible quality of care, but the cost of the surgeries (through no fault of the hospital) are a major hardship. When Bindle was first brought to the emergency room, the procedure seemed like it would be a manageable cost, but once things were underway, it turned out that his situation was extreme, requiring very intensive surgery and a significant amount of time to heal at the hospital. The bill currently stands at $15,000 and may grow more depending on Bindle's progress.

We are hoping to raise $10,500 (the extra $500 is to cover the percentage taken by the Gofundme platform) to help with Bindle's medical bills. Ginny has always been the first to step up for her community--now it's time for her community to help support her! We understand that not everybody is in a good financial position to be able to donate, and if that is the case for you, there is no pressure to contribute, but the family would be deeply appreciative of your love, well-wishes, and good energy for Bindle.
