Car repair costs after accident

Hi everyone, Howi here.

As many of you know, I am in my third year of living in Georgia ( near the Russian border).

You may have heard I was involved in a car accident last week. Thankfully and luckily, no one was injured. The police only speak Georgian and Russian, making everything even more challenging.

The police took the side of the Georgian driver despite him clearly being fully responsible for the accident. That was also a hard pill to swallow. This means that I have been fined for ‘causing the accident’ as well as having to pay to get the car fixed.

Next week is my birthday!

And I am wondering if, instead of a glass of wine or a box of chocolates (!), any of you wonderful people might be happy to support me by helping me cover the cost of some of the repairs?

Of course there is no pressure! I just thought I’d put it out there incase anyone was thinking of a birthday gift and /or wanted to help in this way.

I would be so grateful, and it would really help towards making my birthday more enjoyable.
