Hey folks, I'm Marie, some of you may know me by that name in person. For others, you may know me by my stage name and internet persona Diamond Dust. I work as a professional Gamemaster, streamer and freelance writer.

This past August, I was in Indianapolis working at GenCon 2025. My friends noticed my eyes turned yellow and I was admitted to the hospital for a failing Gallbladder. I was told the surgery should be done immediately as my gallbladder could rupture and I would not make it home alive that weekend. I was scared for my life, but also for the debt I would accrue as I can't afford health insurance. I am recovering well with no complications so far.

However my fears about the debt were even bigger than I thought. I owe $102,811.46 to the hospital. It's more than I thought it would be and I am tried to negotiate the bill. However my wife and I need to file for Bankruptcy as we have no other choice.

Given the struggling job market, the lack of insurance, and still needing to be able to afford the neccesities my wife and I need to live, I need help. For many of you who know me, I struggle with asking for help. I will keep you posted with any updates while I am trying to sort this out. Thank you to anyone who contributes and spreads word.
