Cover Mozu's life-saving treatment

Hi, my name is Michelle and I'm raising money to cover treatment for my cat, Mozu. She's 5 years old and the sweetest cat I've ever known; she's the reason I want to foster cats in the future. Anyone who meets her would know she just wants love. She's always around someone, and purrs louder than an engine when you reach your hand out to her. Mozu would even flop over in front of our dog in hopes of being pet.

Mozu came into my family as a kitten in 2018 and has made her way into everyone's hearts; at this time, I was depressed and she always stuck around me. She would sleep on my chest, lay or sit with me if I was crying, and I truly think she was trying to heal my pain. I saw her do this with other family members as well when they were struggling. I know everyone says their pet is their best friend, but she really has been there for me. I love her and could not imagine losing her.

In July, Mozu's behavior suddenly changed; we found out she was having extremely frequent seizures, alongside enzyme level abnormalities and more. She was hospitalized for a week while they looked for a cause, and it was ultimately labeled as idiopathic or not having a root cause. After a few tries, Mozu stabilized on her anti-seizure medications for a few weeks and things looked a little up. However, in recent weeks, she started showing signs of lethargy, decreased appetite and trouble walking around. She was getting hurt from being unable to make her jumps and knocking into things. We brought her back to the vet and were told that she was showing signs of severe anemia and she was rushed to the ICU at a local hospital. Though tests are not completely done, the doctors are treating her for cancer and Feline Hemotropic Mycoplasmosis (an infection in which a bacterial parasite is attacking her red blood cells).

We need help covering costs of her hospital stay, as well as blood transfusions and future surgeries/medical intervention. The total is estimated to be $8,000 but literally anything would help. I'm a college student, set to graduate this month, so I really do not have the savings to cover this. My family helped pay her previous medical bills and medication, but we are still hurting from it.
