As some of you know, Jennifer has a condition called Autoimmune Hepatitis that she has had for 20yrs or so which we thought was “in remission” but sliently over the years it’s taken a toll on her and her body has been internally compensating.

She’s currently in the ICU at Lahey. She has been diagnosed with severe Pulmonary Hypertension which is causing her heart to fail. This was caused because of her severe liver failure.

She has started on an continuous IV infusion of a medication that she will now need for the rest of her life or until she can receive a liver transplant.

She cannot be placed on a liver transplant list until her heart pressures can be lowered which is hopefully going to happen with this medication. This will be a very long and slow process.

We just found out that this medication is going to cost $700 a month after insurance. With Jennifer unable to work, this is going to be near impossible for them. Any amount would be a huge help! Thank you so much for your support and prayers for Jennifer and our family
