Cover medical bills & other expenses that go along with BMT

Hi my name is Robin Piro along with my sister Lauren Kloack & we want to share the story of our sister Renae and her battle with an incredibly rare and very aggressive form of Lymphoma - specifically ALK Negative Large Lymphoma TCell. Back in September Renae went to the ER with what she believed to be a rash under her arm. Three emergency room visits later we began to realize what we were looking at was not a run of the mill rash, but something far more serious. It was months before they could give us the clear diagnosis and understood the long road that was ahead of Renae.

Our sister is married to the most incredible man, Mike Huettel, who has been by her side for all of her doctor appointments and has stayed with her through all 6 of her chemotherapy visits. They have a beautiful life in The Villages Florida that they share with 3 beautiful pups - Remi, Rocco & Ronan (and only 2 weeks ago lost their eldest pup Reese). If you know our sister - you know her personality is larger than life and her laugh is contagious. She loves hard and lives life to the fullest.

Now that the 6 rounds of chemotherapy are behind her, she is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant in early May. Renae only recently found out that her employer does not offer short term disability, so not only will she be out of work for 12 weeks or longer, she will also be without her income. The hospital is hours away from her home, where they will also need to find care for their 3 dogs that will only add to the growing list of expenses.
