Hi, my name is Rebecca Craig. Recently my soul baby, Conan (ABKC Beowolf) , started having issues with his eye and nose. We took him to the vet multiple times where he was diagnosed with a respiratory infection, bacterial skin infection, then dry eye disease. We paid for eye drops, eye ointments, steroids, and 2 rounds of antibiotics. The treatment provided worsened Conan’s condition. In just 10 days, his cornea had melted and we were advised to take him to the hospital. He was already blind in his eye, unbeknownst to us, and accidentally punctured his eye on a bush outside of the hospital causing it to rupture. There was no saving his eye and it had to be removed. There were x-rays, bloodwork, and also a CT scan performed. The CT scan showed a mass in his sinus cavity so a biopsy was performed. The surgeon was able to take a sample and confirm that it’s a tumor. The samples have been sent off to confirm whether or not it is benign. Regardless, the tumor will need to be removed due to all of the complications it’s causing. At this time we are unsure of the next steps to remove the tumor, but the medical bills will continue to add up. My husband and I both work full time and have 3 other fur babies along with everyday bills. I would do anything to save my baby and keep him from hurting no matter the cost. I am starting this campaign at the urging of friends and family who want to help. If you feel it in your heart to help pay my fur baby’s medical bills I would be more grateful than you could ever know. I am attaching medical bill receipts and 100% of what we raise will go straight towards his bills.
