Cover medical and motel expenses

On June 21st our lives changed as I changed all of a sudden that evening. It was a normal day, I had a neurologist follow up for my seizures and that evening we were all here at the house. Without any warning signs my speech changed, my vision was messed up, I couldn’t write or spell many words. We contacted my neurologist the next morning as we thought it was due to a new migraine medication and she recommended we go to the ER, so we did that and Lexington finally said they couldn’t find anything and didn’t have the tools to look into it further to see if it was due to my seizures.
One week later we went to the ER at MUSC and we saw more doctors than I had in my life. They ruled out a stroke, even though some of my symptoms mimicked one, as my left side is weaker and the right side of my face is. Crazy I know. The CT scan showed a brain tumor/cyst.
On July 7th, that evening my life returned to normal as everything went back to how I previously was. We were so excited, unfortunately when I went to bed and woke up on July 8th everything normal was gone again. Just like someone had flipped the light switch and I was back to June 21st that evening.
I was admitted to MUSC the third week of July for EMU, which is to monitor my seizures which I was having very frequent since March. We stayed there from Mon to Sun, of course like normal “Angela” they weren’t able to capture one. The next day on Monday, I had an appointment to meet with an amazing Neurosurgeons PA and he confirmed that my symptoms were from the tumor. He scheduled us to meet with the Neurosurgeon that Friday of that week. Which he immediately said that I need to have brain surgery.
On September 20th, I will be having a Craniotomy Resection, where they will remove the entire gland that contains the tumor. Life will definitely be different for me, but they hope my symptoms will subside. I can’t drive and there is a possibility that I will never be able to drive again. My vision could be permanently impaired, but I am willing to take that risk to get somewhat of my life back. My recovery could take 6 months to a full year.
I tell you all this to ask for prayers, it will be a very hard road, but I’m ready for it. My family has been wonderful and have taken such good care of me. We hug a little tighter and have lived our fullest every day since we found out.

Above is mom’s story and everything going on. I wanted to help out any way I could beside just being there for her and dad as we go through this together as a family. It’s scary but we know God has all of us in his hands. I’m asking if y’all could help in any way for medical bills and motel expenses for Charleston during surgery it would be greatly appreciated. If you aren’t able to give money we ask if you could keep us in your prayers during this time.
