Lydia Lindberg was diagnosed with recurrent papillary thyroid cancer in July 2025. During her first bout with this cancer she received radiation and her thyroid was removed. It feels so disheartening that it is back again after eight years. Her chances of beating this cancer are high, however, treatment is expensive and not covered by her insurance. To begin treatment, she will need $55,000 and potentially more to continue treatments once she is in the door of the cancer center. It is our hope that she could begin treatment before the end of this year, but we trust God and His timing in all things.

Lydia is our sister, our friend, a phenomenal aunt, beloved nanny, and most of all, our sister in Christ. This is not the story we would have chosen for our sister. But if this is to be her story then I praise God that it will also be her story that God is faithful and has surrounded her with loving, steadfast community! So many of you have already reached out to ask how you can help Lydia and I praise God for you! Thank you for being a part of her story, causing her to know how deeply loved she is, that she never fights alone and that she is tangibly supported on this journey.
