Our beloved community member and friend, Lux @xenasphere, broke their leg in 3 different spots on their way home from work yesterday. They're currently unable to move without a wheelchair or assistance.

They're a trans Native New Yorker, first gen indigenous Taiwanese, and queer parent to 2 toddlers. They have surgery next week and then will be bed bound for 2 months minimum. They earn their income working on their feet and won't be able to make any money while on bed rest.

We're looking to raise $6-9k to alleviate the need for them to worry about money during this time of recover and to cover any additional medical costs
