Hi, my name is Richard K and I'm donating a kidney to someone in need. This is an altruistic donation, so it will go to a complete stranger. I’m asking for help covering expenses while I’m out of work post-surgery. I’d like to not use my limited paid time off or be punished if short term disability is denied.

My whole life has been dedicated to helping others and everyone who knows me says this is the kind of thing I’d do. I’m retired from the US Army, am a nurse and specifically a Hospice Nurse the last seven years.
