Heidi Horst, a caring daughter, a nurturing mother, and loving Noni. As some of you know she has moved this year to TN to be closer to her kids and grand-baby. She has been taking a roll in helping with watching her grand-baby on her off days.

Heidi had a fall which has caused her to break her arm and wrist.

**UPDATE** Heidi had her post-op appt today 10/30/23 with the surgeon it did not go as well as we all hoped. 2 things were found during the surgery 2 bones broken one of the breaks were really bad. During the surgery they found that is was broke/splintered in several other places that needed fixed as well. In addition to the breaks she has a ruptured ligament. All of this resulted in pins, plates, and bigger incision. Recovery is going to take longer than expected. They are now saying Heidi can't return to work for 4 to 6 weeks.

Her job doesn't offer any paid days off and she doesn't receive any short term disability. Her insurance has a high deductible of $6,000, which has caused her to pay her visits and bills out of pocket.

Moving and getting settled in TN hasn't gone the way it was supposed to and she is already dry financially, and she works so hard to try to overcome those initial unexpected things and get ahead one day. Now this injury has caused an extreme amount of financial stress on her. She only has her income to live with, and now losing many weeks of that income being off work and then has all these medical bills ,on top of that, coming that she can not pay.

She is still going to need so much financial help. If you know Heidi, you know she is willing to take her shirt off her back for someone else. We are hoping to come together as a loving community of family, friends, and anyone who wants to help someone, to help take this financial burden off her shoulders. Heidi has an extremely hard time asking anyone for help...she likes to be the one helping...but she needs this badly.

Your help will allow her to get the proper treatment, to heal up as quickly as possible and still be able to afford the roof over her head.

Message from Heidi: Heidi wants every person who has helped to know she is thankful and grateful, way more than she could ever express. It is hard for her to ask for and accept help. She is so very humbled through this, from all the love and support you all have been giving her. She said that her Gran always told her " Heidi, you must be a cheerful receiver and allow people to give to you too, so that they can be blessed for their giving!"
