Cover legal fees and keep my photos free!

I'm Jenn, a hockey photographer shooting for Emerald City Hockey and a handful of other independent media outlets. I hate asking for help. However, I've recently had a to deal with a chaotic living situation and move on the fly. The move itself drained finances, and I'm now fighting some ridiculous move-out charges from a horrible landlord. I have retained legal counsel, but this has upfront fees around the same amount landlord is demanding.

I'm single income, don't have a car, and have an apartment in the middle of Seattle. As many of you know, I do NOT charge for my photos. I don't want to charge for my photos. However, I need to cover these fees and make sure the lawyer gets paid and not the landlord. I also need to get my finances back under control and do things like, ya know, eat and pay rent. This whole situation is seriously taking its toll on my mental health. And at the very least, If I don't get this handled, there won't be any travel to Coachella Valley or other out-of-region games this season.

As I mentioned, I hate asking for help. I avoid it as much as possible. I'm sucking it up here, and asking those who are able and willing to help me get back on my feet, get rid of this whole nightmare landlord/tenant situation, and keep me providing photos to the masses in the way that I love doing.
