San Diego Family Help Recover from Flood 2024

We created this in order to ask for assistance to help cover some of the damage caused to my uncle Manuel family's home of 18 years due to the flooding that occurred January 22, 2024.

It all occured rapidly and we were unable to salvage a few things or move cars to a safer area. We live right behind a flood channel near Mountain View that was overflowing and on a dead end street. The water caused damage to mainly our homes interior such as walls, outlets, furniture and floor. Many hours have been spent removing damaged items since the day of the event. We have much more to clean in order to fully figure out what needs to be done to prevent mold from completely ruining the house. The flood also caused damage to our cars and we have not been able to move them from the area. We unfortunately have not been able to stay at our home since then. We have spent many days cleaning and are having a difficult time.
