Our dad Rick is a small business owner who has been fighting esophageal cancer for more than a year and recently developed pneumonia. This caused him to be admitted to the ICU 3 hours from home on December 1st, 2023. He is currently still in the ICU undergoing multiple surgeries to remove fluid from his lungs and currently fighting off a new infection. On behalf of my family and I we are creating this gofundme to hopefully lessen the burden on our dad and our mom/stepmother Becky as she has taken off work this entire time driving back and forth as well as renting hotel rooms in order to be by his side.
