Cover expenses from canceling due to illness

As a lot of you know, Carmela was sick this past weekend, and we had to cancel our appearance in Philadelphia. Although it was a difficult decision, as we never like to cancel a performance, we definitely feel it was the right thing to do. Not only for Carmela's benefit seeing as how she could barely stand, but also we would never knowingly put our audience at risk. Thank goodness it ended up not being Covid but at the time, we didn't know what it was, and we would never want to put our audience in harm's way.

However, we're still on the hook for the venue payment. Although we were able to negotiate a lower amount, we still have to pay the venue $1500 for the date. A date where we didn't we make a dime since we refunded everyone's tickets in full, but also have no way of paying for *our* expenses that were already accrued for this event.

Please know that this GoFundMe will not be used for our expenses. Our goal of $1500 is solely to pay the venue the amount they are asking. We really appreciate all your well wishes while Carmela was getting better, and we humbly ask for your support once again. Every little bit helps.
