Hello everyone! My name is Jordan, and I am raising money for my parents.

As some may already know, my mom, Pat Satterlee, was diagnosed with cancer in late May. After months of discomfort in her abdomen, multiple doctors and finally the correct blood work. We found out that her tumor markers were extremely high. Numerous trips to get scans shows a tumor in her appendix that is filling the abdomen with tumor-filled mucus. The course of treatment is a 5-12 hour surgery at KU med on Aug. 4th. It is a very invasive surgery that includes a total hysterectomy, 90 minutes of hot chemo in the abdomen, and an appendectomy to remove the tumor.

Her stay in the hospital will be at least two weeks, with a few days in the ICU. I would love to help them by taking care of food and hotel expenses for my dad while my mom is in the hospital.

There are still a lot of unknowns until the surgery is done. But, we all are praying for healing in her body, and we know that God's hands will be on her.
