Cover emergency vet expenses

This GoFundMe is to help cover the emergency vet expenses after this sweet boy was unfortunately hit by a car yesterday in front of my dads house. He is in State College getting the care he needs currently. He stopped breathing on the way to the vet and they brought him back. The biggest goal is to be able to save his leg. They are currently monitoring his lungs until further steps are taken. More updates to come.

We are going to do whatever it takes to save him. He is such a lover of all people. He has pretty significant lung damage, they pulled a liter of free air out of him around midnight last night and he is sleeping in a oxygen chamber, his leg has been de-gloved and the hock (ankle) is completely detached. Because of the extensive damage to his leg the best route is to amputate. They are going to try and pull back his oxygen tonight and see how he handles it in preparation for surgery. My heart is completely crushed. We just lost our chocolate lab a couple weeks ago to cancer. I've never done anything like this. I feel honestly a little unsure. We are probably looking at eight thousand dollars at this point. If people want to donate I can promise you we will pay it forward.
