Cover Demi the greyhounds vet bills from a snake bite.

Hi, my name is Paige and I am setting up this Gofund to help my mum. It has been an absolutely terrifying ordeal for her and my mother. Demi her ex racer rescued grey hound. She is her soul pet, she means the whole world to her.

On Wednesday the 9th of March, Demi the greyhound suffered 5 seizures within 18 hours.

Demi is epileptic but is on preventative medication which works, so this many seizures was highly alarming so she was sent to her local vet asap. Vets determined that Demi was suffering from the venom of a snake bite.

While in triage she had her 6th seizure. She didn’t regain proper consciousness so she had to be sedated and intubated because her oxygen kept dropping.

Demi has been in the hospital since that day. Been given anti venom, on a ventilator, blood in urine & stool. She developed an infection in her leg, they assume it’s from the bite itself.

Off the vent on day 2 thank goodness.

Still on IV medication for pain relief.

Ever so slowly each day getting that tad bit better.

But these bill quotes are absolutely going to crush our family. Please, if anyone has the time and even a spare dollar or two, please help my mum. They don’t deserve such a heavy expensive burden.

She took Demi into her care and has given Demi her whole world and this me just trying to do anything I can to help ease that burden.
