On 9/25/2026 in Tuscon Arizona, a police call was made to my mom’s home. My brother was having a manic episode. He had severe mental health issues, and was off his medication. When the officers arrived my brother was playing with swords, because that’s a common thing he would do he loved them. My brother is manic depressant schizophrenic bipolar among other mental health disorders. He was playing with his swords, and apparently the officers asked him to put them down, and then 2 officers shot him over 4 times in the chest. 4 bulletholes have gone through my moms house along with a floor covered in his blood. The Pima county sheriffs department could have handled that any other way, he wasn’t a threat, he was just having an episode. They could have used rubber bullets, a taser, de escalated the situation appropriately but instead of any of that, 2 officers shot him in cold blood when he needed help. I am creating this go fund me to pay for his cremation and funeral Services. My brother also paid for a lot in regards to the rent etc, so to also cover expenses while I try to help out my brother and sister and 70 year old mom. I am also looking into a wrongful death lawsuit and plan to hire an attorney.
