Getting to Oxford means I am one step closer to becoming a professor. The goal of becoming a professor is important to me on two levels. First, I believe that God has called me to pursue this and it has been the most fulfilling work of my life. Second, I hope to be an advocate for women and Latinos in Christian academia, as only 30% of jobs in Christian academia are held by women and 10% by Latinos. Not only do I hope to advocate for equality but I pray that through my example, other women and Latinos would be inspired to pursue Christian education and academia.

To help me reach my goal of $50,000 by June, I would be so grateful if you could also share my fundraiser with your friends and family online or through direct message. Each share gives my fundraiser a push to those outside of my network, which increases my chances of hitting my goal.
