Hi my name Is Kirk and I'm raising funds for our cat Ivy. Unfortunately she had an accident where she got her foot stuck and she attempted to jump and twist loose when she fractured her Tibia. We currently don't have pet insurance and are struggling to keep up with the finances of the surgeries required to get her back to where she was. She's 1yrs old and has a sister as seen in the photos. My 2 young sons absolutely adore her and we can't imagine having to put her down simply because of this accident. Any amount at all would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure to reunite her with her sister and the boys. The Vet said she'd make a perfect recovery because she's young and has no underlying issues. Currently she's looking at 2 surgeries. 1 will cover putting the 3 broken pieces of her tibia back together using a plate, rod and screws. The 2nd surgery will be to take those all out once the leg has healed. Typically they would keep the plate there but due to the lack of skin & muscle in the area it would be a constant burden to her so they'll need to remove those when possible. Along with the surgeries there will be constant meds and X-rays to see progress and to keep her pain at bay. That's all we've been advised of for now.
