It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved brother, Kaushal Kumar Thakur, who sadly passed away on 18 June 2026 at the age of 22 at his rented accommodation in Manor Court, Harrow, London.
Kaushal was originally from Banauli, Pipara-07, Mahottari, Nepal, and was pursuing a BSc (Hons) Cyber Security & Networks degree at the University of East London. He was a bright, hardworking, and caring young man with a promising future ahead of him. His loss has left our family, friends, and all who knew him heartbroken.
After struggling with mental health challenges, Kaushal sadly took his own life. This tragedy has devastated our family and left us grieving the loss of a beloved son, brother, and friend.
Our family is currently facing significant financial difficulties and does not have the resources required to cover the costs of his cremation and the repatriation of his body to Nepal. During this incredibly painful time, we humbly appeal to the Nepali community and anyone who may be able to help.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping us give Kaushal a dignified farewell and bring him home to Nepal. If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you keep him and our family in your thoughts and prayers and share this appeal with others.
We are deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time.
Thank you.
Aditya Kumar Thakur
Harrow, London
