To Help With Funeral Cost

His name is Jimmy Rosas Jr, but to our family he is baby Jimmy. His dad & our family will miss his infectious smile, his goofy personality & his loving heart. He could light up any room! He was the kind of friend that always held his door open to all his friends. He was a good boy with a heart of gold who had dreams of one day becoming a successful college football player and become a professional barber like his dad. All that was stolen from him. His dad will never get to see him cross that stage at graduation. He'll never get to see the day he gets married and start a family of his own. We'll never get to watch his dreams come true. On 12/11/22 his dad was awakened by a heart wrenching call that no dad should ever wake up to. That his son who had just turned 17 years old was senselessly shot and left for dead outside of a building.
He was treated in the ICU & officially pronounced brain dead Monday, 12/12/22 at 2:33am. That very same Monday, the gift his dad bought baby Jimmy for Christmas arrived at his home. Instead of preparing to wrap his gift to surprise him with for Christmas, he has to do what no dad should and prepare for his funeral.
Again, that Monday our family did the walk of honor for our Baby Jimmy as his dad decided to donate his organs, so that out of this devastatingly and unimaginable tragedy his son can bring the gift of life to 8 others in need of an organ. Our handsome boy will live on through others.
While it's bad enough to lose a child, Baby Jimmy’s dad, had just lost his own dad last year. As the holidays are quickly approaching and while it should be a happy time, he is trying to wrap his head around everything that has happened and processing this new norm of never hearing his sons voice, his laugh, his jokes, seeing his beautiful smile, feeling his big warm hugs, no last text, no last phone call, no last “I love you.”
During this time of grief our family is asking the public for all the prayers that can possibly be given and if anyone can find it in their hearts to donate it would be greatly appreciated. We believe in our faith in God that He will see his dad and our family through this tragic timey. His dad is having to now figure out funeral arrangements for Baby Jimmy and anything will help.
