Cover Bob Chulata's expenses after recent surgery

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Matthew Jessick and I'm raising funds for our great friend, Bob Chulata (pictured on the left, next to Mark C). I know Bob from a weekly Bible study that we both attend (for at least the last 6 years) and also from Cornerstone Fellowship in Livermore where Bob was a Care Pastor and a fervent prayer warrior on the prayer team - praying for others in their time of need. Bob suffers from a disease called Myasthenia gravis, which is a chronic autoimmune, neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles. Bob has been dealing with this most of his adult life (there is no known cure). He has been wheelchair-bound for all the years I've known him, due to the loss of full functionality in his limbs (his personal condition has affected his face, throat, arms and legs). Given that, he is usually more concerned about others than himself. He is generally able to care for himself and loves to brag about his two kids all the time. Everyone who knows Bob finds him warm and compassionate and a faithful follower of the Lord.

Bob's health took a turn for the worse a few weeks ago - he was rushed to ER on the 10th and admitted due to severe difficulty breathing and other complications. They were able to get him stabilized and put him on a ventilator, but quickly determined that he'd need a tracheotomy full-time in order to breath properly. The doctors and nurses have been great and Bob was recently discharged from ICU and transfered to a facility where he will adjust, undergo rehabilitation training and learn to how to adjust to and care for the the tracheotomy that helps him to breath.

The need: Bob lives very modestly and is usually able to cover his monthly expenses, through his work at Mercy and Grace Ministries, but after his recent 3 week hospitalization and surgery, he'll need another several weeks to adjust before he can return to his normal duties. We're simply looking to help Bob meet his monthly expenses, like rent, food, electricity, etc., (note, his employer has graciously offer to cover some of his lost wages.)

I hope you'll prayerfully consider making a donation to our friend, Bob and more-importantly to keep him in your prayers.

In Christ

-Matthew
