When it rains it pours. Just need a little help.

This is extremely humbling and embarrassing to be in this spot. To have to ask for help goes against my nature. But as a Dad my kids come first and I really have no other option.

The last 4 weeks my work dried up and slammed to a halt. I ended up sitting at the house being told by my supervisor that I would have work in a couple days, just to sit tight. Those couple days turned to a couple weeks and then eventually they called me, along with a bunch of other guys, and laid us off. As soon as they did I went and found another job. A great opportunity with a company in Edmond. The only problem is even though I was hired that day, their next orientation class wasn’t until July 17th. So that’s when I start with them. In the meantime I’ve been doing whatever work I can find, and have sold pretty much anything of value I had to cover my bills and that covered me last month. But I’m finding myself between a rock and a hard place right now bc I don’t have the money for this months bills. My landlord put off my rent until Friday the 14th, and then I have electric and water due on Monday the 17th. My phones actually been off for the last 4 days so I’m using my WiFi to use my phone. This is one of the hardest points of my life I’ve been in… oh and my car was stolen a couple weeks ago too. Thankfully a friend is letting me use their vehicle until I get a new one.
