Cover Amy Bell-Yerk’s medical costs…

Hi… my name is Amy. Here is the short of my story… I wasn’t feeling like myself one day… had on-going headaches and slight peripheral vision loss. So, I decided to get checked out… my appointment was on 1/11/23. I explained my symptoms to my primary Dr. and she wanted me to go to the ER, which I did. While there, I underwent a few scans and then was the news… there was a mass in my brain. There was a biopsy performed a couple days later and then surgery was set. Pathology confirmed the cancer diagnoses. I was luckily able to go home for a few days before the surgery. Surgery was performed on Monday the 23rd. I have been resting comfortably at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla since. The next step in my journey will now be checking in to an Acute Rehab Center to strengthen the mobility on my left side (hopefully today). I should be there for about 2 weeks before I start chemo/ radiation. I’ve been a fighter my whole life and I do not plan on stopping now! If you are able to join my fight against cancer it would be greatly appreciated.
