Hi friends and loved ones. I come to you all with a heavy and humble heart to ask for help (in any way you can) to support Abi and our family as we go through these difficult times.
Not many of you know, but our girl Abi has been struggling with some emotional and mental health ever since her assault by her bullies at school in Dec of 2021. Throughout 2022, Abi has been through emotional struggles that slowly have increased to what they are now; despite all our efforts to help her here at home.
I’ll be honest, as a mother, it has been disheartening to see and whiteness as her mental health has deteriorated and not be able to “fix” it or “take it away”. The silent struggles we’ve been through in attempts to keep her safe and out of danger have been difficult, but we continue to find ways and do what we can to help her and show her that we continue to love her and are here for her.
Without giving too much personal information.. Our Abi is needing more extensive help in a residential program in order to get her the help she needs. We are having to pay our deductible out of pocket for the first 30 days and there after for total of 90 days equaling $3,900. As well as trying to find the means to fly her out and back for us (her parents) and with over night stay while we sort all of this out for her/with her out state.
If you are able to help in any way possible we would greatly appreciate it ♥️ and it truly be a big help as we figure out how to continue to assist her without falling behind in caring for the rest of our Littles.
Always keeping in mind - we can’t see people’s mental health.. so always be kind.
