Cover a Year of Daycare Costs for Lindsay Rast

Joshua Rast passed away on October 6th, 2022, after an 8-year battle with Melanoma. Many of you know what a funny, kind, and God-fearing man he was and he will be so deeply missed. He left behind his wife, Lindsay, of 11.5 years and their three beautiful children, Oliver-7, Katelyn-5, and Emmett-1.

Josh was unable to get life insurance before he passed away. They were so young when they got married (21 and 23, practically babies!) they didn't even think about it, and then he was diagnosed with Melanoma a short time later, leaving him disqualified from being able to. They were hard workers and budgeted diligently to pay off all of their loans a couple of years ago and save a little money, but things may be tight for Lindsay and the kids in the coming years.

I'm starting this fund to help cover Emmett and Katelyn's childcare expenses for the next year. Next summer, Katelyn will go to Kindergarten, and Emmett will turn two which will decrease their costs by a good amount (babies are more expensive to care for than older preschoolers).

All extra funds will go towards an account for the children's future.
