Joshua L. Cobb was born on August 21, 1988 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  However, just 28 short years later, he was taken from our family prematurely, shot at approximately 9:30p.m. while making his way home on the night of December 29th.  Details surrounding our cousin's death are still forthcoming.  His older brother was also taken from our family prematurely, 26 years prior.   Thus, our beloved Aunt, Joshua’s mother, is burying yet another son.

There are approximately 13,000 homicides in America each year as a result of gun violence, half of those victims are African American males.  As a result, it is hard to find an African American family that has not experienced what our family is currently experiencing.
 
We must find ways to end violence in our own communities.

Our family is now seeking support to help cover funeral and burial arrangements.  Please consider making a contribution to help alleviate any financial hardships that may result from this untimely and tragic death of our young cousin, Josh.
