Cousin Michael Needs Our Help to Heal

I am here asking for help with an amazing family friend named Michael. We spent many years together growing up from our teenage years to our early 30's. We always called ourselves cousins and many other things but we lived and played like blood cousins for sure. 26 years later, I came across Michael while I was looking for another homeless person to bring clothes too. In a surreal moment I met Michael during one of my Youtube videos for The Furry Pilot Diner last month. We took off immediately to get whatever he needed and soon learned that Michael may be experiencing mental issues beyond my ability. I have tried multiple times to take to my house and cannot make it through my door and it is an episode that I can only explain as pure difficultly. We have gone to the shelter a couple times and it falls apart before getting in the door or they are at capacity. I was donated over $1000 through my youtube channel last month and for sure used 200% of it taking him to get clothes, shoes, jackets, food and multiple phones. I would buy him everything possible and to be honest, my first youtube paycheck from last month is 850 which excites me but not all youtubers make crazy money. I do this because it gives me purpose and passion. We have had a couple rough weeks as when I push or lean to get him somewhere, i kind of like become an enemy and to be honest at times it really scares me and I want to hide and cry because I don't know how to calm the moment. I do know his family and brothers especially, have been there as much as possible and I feel for them also because mental illness runs in my family and Its crippling. I have not ever done a fundraiser or anything of this magnitude so I am trying my best. I thought $15,000 would give the opportunity to get Michael into an extended stay room for couple weeks or more. He can get a safe warm place, home feeling and some security not having to sleep outside. I would help get him the essentials he needs and Identification. I am sure we could get a professional to come and sit with us and look for a logical and best next step for him to take for wellness. I do know he wants to feel better and I truly believe this would help immensely. I would document each week with an update video for my Cousin Michael J!
