We're COURT'S CREW, and we're running the 2024 LA Marathon in partnership with Siteman Cancer Center to raise money for pancreatic cancer research.
OUR GOAL: $20,000
OUR STORY
In March 2023, my mother Courtney Gray was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer.
She's a warrior. A breast cancer survivor. And now, under the care of the incredible team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis, and Siteman Cancer Center, she's fighting pancreatic cancer.
Here's the facts:
- Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers
- In 2023, an estimated 64,050 Americans will be diagnosed
- Clinical trials are crucial
That last point is important. My mom, like many other pancreatic cancer patients, is currently enrolled in a clinical trial. These vital research studies investigate new treatments or new combinations of treatments. Not only are they beneficial to current patients, but they provide invaluable research and data for the development and refinement of future treatments.
How far would they go? They are saving lives through their participation.

A leading cancer treatment, research and education institution, Siteman is the recipient of the highest rating possible - exceptional - by the NCI for cancer research. Siteman treats more than 75,000 individual patients, including 12,000 newly diagnosed patients, every year.

We are Court's Crew. Hayes Beyersdorfer, Conner Floyd, and Thomas Cisneros.
On March 17, 2024 we are running the Los Angeles Marathon.
Our goal: to raise $20,000.
But it's not just us. It's all of us. Everyone who contributes, who shares, who participates...
